Lounge & Workspace｜ Bern

For this project, we were commissioned to develop the furnishing and lighting concept for existing office spaces.

As the building is listed as a historical monument, walls and materials were largely predetermined – our task was to complement the historic character atmospherically and give the rooms a renewed presence through interior design.

 

Our goal was to create workspaces that unite functionality and ambience while reinterpreting the character of the existing structure.

The historic charm of the rooms was deliberately preserved and placed in a modern context. With carefully selected furniture, finely tuned lighting moods, and a calm, refined design language, a harmonious dialogue between old and new emerged.

 

The furnishings subtly structure the space, creating zones for interaction and retreat while emphasizing the architectural lines.

The result is a working environment that honours history while conveying contemporary lightness – functional, elegant, and with a refined sense of atmosphere.
